Looking down at Moraira Port and the old fishermen's living quarters. With a great view to Calp, Calp is characterized by the 332-meter-high rock El peñon de Ifach, which protrudes into the sea and can be seen from kilometers away. The rock is part of a small bird sanctuary.

Wonderful hikes to be enjoyed all around, this 1 hour hike towards the watch tower Torre Vigia Cap d’Or from El Portet, looks out over the sea, El Portet beach, Moraira's port and to Calp, a village 15 km from Moraira.

Playa del Portet, a beautiful picturesque blue bay, you can eat the best paella of Moraira on the terrace of restaurant El Portet! Or order the typical fresh delicious fresh fish tapas, the best from Moraira, while you eat you have the most fabulous view over the beach and bay. 

Sierra de Bernia, the mountain with the most beautiful and fabulous views. It's a small mountain range with different hike distances, the highest top of the Bernia is 1120 meters.

Cala Del Moraig is only 2 km from Moraira. You will find a natural and picturesque beach surrounded by rocky cliffs, where you can snorkel and nudism is allowed. You can do different hikes along the cliffs. It's 5 minutes walk from Casa Bear, the beautiful house at the Cumbre del Sol.

On the south side of Moraira you will find Platja Platgetes, a small but often relatively quiet sandy beach with some rocky outcrops on the north side popular with snorkelers and fishermen. Near the beach are a few restaurants and bars that fall into the higher price range.

Besides the beaches, one of the things to see in Moraira is the castle. In reality, it is not a large fortress but a small defensive bastion, a horseshoe-shaped structure that dates back to the 18th century, specifically the 1740s. This building is located near the beach of l'Ampolla 

Located in the mountains, Guadalest is one of the most special and beautiful villages of the Costa Blanca.Today, due to its picturesque location and well-preserved authenticity, Guadalest is one of the most popular excursions. The uniqueness of Guadalest is that the village is beautifully integrated into the rocks.

Probably the most beautiful festival in Moraira is the celebration of Moros y Cristianos. The festivities surrounding Moros y Cristianos begin as early as May. But it ultimately revolves around the one week in June. That's when really everything is pulled out of the closet. The week of celebration is filled with beautiful parades, music, dancing and spectacle on the beach, the various parades are perhaps the feat of the celebration, the costumes are spectacular and the number of participants is enormous.

The muscatel grape is perfect for making delicious dessert wines, the mistela. In Teulada there is a cooperative, the San Vicente Ferrer, which was founded in 1940. They have been making this special alcoholic digestif for years and has received worldwide recognition for its refined taste. It is well worth a visit and a bottle of mistela makes an ideal gift/memorial for those who want to take home something unique from Moraira/Teulada.
